There will be an area of Motiongate themed around The Hunger Games, and according to ScreamScape there will be a launched coaster. ScreamScape has a really good page on it, with a timeline and links to construction pictures etc.

Sorry for the crappy news topic (and if there already is one), I'm still kinda confused by it so hopefully someone here is more knowledgeable...

Motiongate now has what appears to be a Gerstlauer bobsled on site. Possibly a spinner but looks more bobsledy to me

I believe there is also a Mack suspended similar to Arthur at Europa Park in the DreamWorks building too

I wouldn't consider 5 coasters in a starting line up tiny. It looks like it has a safari of some kind too, like Great Adventure's.

But is that an ArEmSea at the back? A Pulsar ride at the front? An EsUnEs 4Dee to the right? And possibly a Premier Full Throttle type ride to the left? I wonder of there will be any creds in the indoor portion of the park?

The Mack interests me because it begs the question Will we see one come to the states? and could that open the door to more Macks being installed throughout Six Flags. I hope rows of meatballs below Pulsar get established in the other parks too.

This broke ground recently and 4 of the 5 lands are named after existing Six Flags parks: Thrillseeker Plaza, Magic Mountain, Fiesta Texas, Great Escape, Great Adventure, and Great America - Kinda shocked they remembered the existence of Great Escape. It's line up includes 3 world record breaking rides, 6 roller coasters, 4 aerial attractions and a 1150ft long rapids ride. It is scheduled to open 2019.

Considering they've gone for Pulsar, a 4D and the blue coaster thats using up as little land as possible, a Goliath clone is the perfect choice for a the park that's making space-conscious descions.

First, this actually is happening? Second, that's tiny as crap.

It looks compact, that's for sure. I was surprised too. Then I realized it might be a good idea to minimize walking distance between attractions in a climate such as Dubai's. Between the blistering summer heat and the occasional dust storms, large outdoor areas might not be the most attractive feature a park can have.

Also, in the concept art, they're leaving room to expand. After all, you can't always start big; keeping the park to a small area might be wise in its initial phase.

From the concept art there is:
  • Goliath at SFGAm clone
  • S&S FreeSpin (most likely)
  • Gerstlauer Spinner (pandemonium clone likely)
  • Mack PowerSplash
There is also a light blue coaster which dances around the entrance plaza and contains a loop. I'm guessing it is supposed to be either Premier or Inatmin.

So far I am planning for Jan/Feb 2019 and at first thought Sun-Fri would be enough - think I have to guess again...
But so many credits in such a little area are hard to find somewhere else in the world...
