Yay - the inside bit at least is awesome already so I'm excited to see it themed.

Yeah they batch you in this seperate room and then the doors open and put you in random rows.

So your door might open first, be at the front, but you end up in the third row.

I hate it.

I really love the aesthetic and really hope they decide to theme the tower too. It strongly reminds me of De Vliegende Hollander!

Hmmm, I feel like this could do with a bit more 'fantasy'. Like, at the moment sure it looks high quality but it just looks like a real castle, which kind of defeats the point of theming for me?

I don't understand why there'd be TV's in a castle narrative? They're not even disguised as portraits ffs.

I think it's supposed to be like a museum style experience? As in, they've discovered the castle and are using the TVs to inform the guests of its history and such

They had similar screens in De Vliegende Hollander (can't remember whether they were disguised as something else or not) and they weren't too bad, although Efteling had used smaller ones and much more sparingly and it just felt less 'obvious to the eye' than these!

Explaining that to guests is very hard. You're saying "You're in a castle, but it's the modern time, until you board the old vehicles", it just doesn't work as a linear narrative and is hard to fully explain in such a short time for the customer experience.

I kinda get it - it's like the Hex narrative really.

But yay glad they've done something, they just need to sort out the actual concrete tower!

This ride is fab tho.

I am absolutely loving the bag drop off, that's the best thing ever. Whenever a park goes over the top to theme a ride or area, I'm always in admiration. I love that they've combined mundane operational aspects of the ride (bag drop) into the story and narrative, very well done and I wish more parks take a leaf out of the books of these smaller parks that seem to be doing so well for immersive attractions.

In the quest to take the title of "most bricks in a theme park" from Legoland, Hansa Park are now actually going head with theming the tower.

I think the scale of this tower is understated, so I wish them luck.
