Favorite and least favorite manufacturer

I've done a similar thread with coasters from each company, but here let's rate them on the design firms overall.

Favorite: B&M - Crazy consistency, always a smooth ride, and unbelievably comfortable seats/restraints.
Least Favorite: Any Chinese knockoff company, like Beijing Shibaolai or Golden Horse

^ Have you ridden any of the chinese knock-off coasters?
For me the best company is B&M. None of their coasters did disappoint and I've ridden quite a lot of their products.
As for the worst... Probably Zamperla. I've only ridden 2 of their coasters, but they were both catastrophic and found themselves in my bottom 10.

Favourite is definitely GCI. They make some of the best wooden coasters around, and every coaster since Gwazi has pretty much been a big winner.

Least favourite would probably be a company like E&F Miler or Cavazza Diego, specialising in bland, crap and unimaginative, yet inexplicably rough, kiddie coasters.

Fav: Intamin. Exceeds my expectations almost every time. B&M is a close second though.
Least Fav: Togo. Ow.

@TilySlo - No, but I've not ridden nearly enough Vekomas (just a Roller Skater) or Arrows (Demon and Thunderation, only) or [insert company name here] to form a good enough opinion based off of the negativity of their actual rides. I'm firmly against the business operations of the Chinese knockoff firms, and if you can't come up with your own ideas, then you shouldn't be part of the industry to begin with.

Favorite: Intamin because they just have all the best rides. I think Intamin takes better risks and puts out better rides than B&M.
Least Favorite: Zamperla, even though Vekoma might have some worse rides. I still love their Disney rides. Unlike Zamperla, which is just cheap and boring rides. They are all so half-assed.

Intamin's stuff has never disappointed and dominates my top 10. They always go big.
RCCA is probably the worst. They never actually gave a crap, clearly, and I believe out of 5 rides only 2 are left? Their woodies never did aaaaanything.

Best - B&M and Intamin (Gerstlauer and Mack are doing pretty well too).
Worst - Vekoma and though I haven't ridden any of them yet, Togo looks poor as well.

Best: B&M
Worst: RMC & Gerstlauer

I hate the idea that the future of wooden roller coasters will include inversions. I honestly believe that as RMC evolve, so will every other wooden coaster manufacturer, and it won't be long until most newly constructed woodies will be substituting out of control twists and turns, and glorious airtime for masses of inversions. Right now the balance is perfect, as Outlaw run has proven, but soon enough the parks will be demanding more and more inversions, and Goliath SFGAm is the first of many I fear.

So yeah, I don't actually have an issue with RMC as a manufacturer, I've never ridden one and I've only heard rave reviews about how they ride, and of course it's the parks who decide they want them, it's not being forced on them, but yeah, RMC have started the trend of inverted woodies and I fear the worse.

Gerstlauer gets the official vote though, their smaller coasters are fab (Rattenmuhle <3), but their larger, thrill coasters are actually Sh1t!

Best: B&M
Worst: TOGO/Zamperla

If Zamperla's pseudo-Thunderbolt turns out decent I'll knock them up a few pegs. They've changed a lot in their rides in the last 4 years, and I imagine their coasters will also be spruced up a bit.

I agree. I really liked Outlaw Run. It was a lot of fun, but I thought the inversions were the worst part of the ride. I felt like the ride could have been better without them.

Best: Intamin - My top 4 are all Intamins
Worst: Vekoma - 2 coasters in my bottom 5(excluding kiddy), both rough as hell

I will have to differ. I thought the inversions blended well with the ride and its pace. I do hope that GCI doesn't start looping too however. Their rides seem better as small little airtime machines. Leave the inversions to RMC and Gravity Group.

I would be fine with a couple of GCI rides including a barrel roll at the end, but I quite like their character and how they pack such intense rides into a small footprint. (Mind you, my opinion on them is quite flawed as I've yet to ride one of their creations.)

Outlaw's inversions blended seamlessly into the ride, however, and instead of wasting space provided an entirely new out-of-left-field experience.

100% my views and rating as well so I won't re type.

It's such a hard choice between B&M and Intamin because they are so different. If I had to say, I would probably edge out with B&M because I just love the quality of their rides. Intamin puts up great competition though.

As for worst - I think everyone can agree that RCCA hasn't put out many great designs. They always look so cool but ride so rough.
