Looks like Italy is getting one of its old parks back. Edenlandia was a small park in Naples that opened in 1965. It was situated next to the city zoo until the park hit financial difficulty back in 2011 and after an unsuccessful bid to save it the park closed for good in March 2013.
Or so it seemed.
Work on a project to bring the park back to life commenced in 2015 and after a couple of delays the new owners have set an opening date for April 2018.
The park was never huge and its lost a lot of its land to a new indoor swimming complex however they have taken over the now abandoned running track next door helping to compliment the existing land left over from the original park.
The park only ever sported a succession of small Pinfari coasters and it doesn't look like it will re-open in April with an coasters. However a new coaster is set to arrive next year when the old running track is converted into park space.
Some poor resolution plans for the small park.
Some pictures of work on the park

While its not going to be on anyone's bucket list it looks like it might be a nice little +1 should you be in the area
