Looks a lot like the chute has snagged one of the boats and become pretty seriously damaged, causing the other rafts to pile up behind. Probably a relatively quick fix - just replace the section - but it does beg the question of how the chute starting to give way wasn't spotted by maintenance. Lucky no-one was hurt seriously - it's never good mixing crashing/crashed ride vehicles with water!

Yeah, I don't think this was a case of 'two boats collided and then cracked the chute - I think it was the other way around... two boats collided because of the large crack/tear in the chute itself.
