Opening day is just under a month away (10th Feb) so I assume it won't be ready for then. "Spring" is pretty vague but I assume that's not feb. Haven't been able to find any updates on the construction dated later than new year's eve either. Would be nice to distract from all the mouse hoo-ha.
Ok thanks for the info. Be sure to post your update once it's done. It's definitely not opening next month, hopefully it'll be open sometime in April but there's no confirmed date that's publicly known yet.
I'll be filming an Icon update for Pleasure Beach Experience later on, the work men only resumed work on it two days ago after being down in London for a short while.
My appetite for this topic is somewhat subdued now. Seems to have lost its edge for some reason.
Likewise, probably because they demolished the Wild Mouse (for me anyway). My appetite for this topic is somewhat subdued now. Seems to have lost its edge for some reason.
I kind of agree. I'm sure this will be a great coaster, but maybe not that great. I mean, it's not that tall, not that fast and doesn't have that many inversions. I haven't ridden any Mack coasters of note yet, but this one just seems like it might be a bit 'middle of the road' in all aspects. I hope it will prove me wrong though! My appetite for this topic is somewhat subdued now. Seems to have lost its edge for some reason.
Nemesis isn't tall, it isn't that fast and it only has 4 inversions yet Walter Bolliger still considers it the best B&M invert.I kind of agree. Although not Mack, Taron isn't that tall, and doesn't have any inversions, yet is closely regarded as one of the best coasters on earth? In this day and age, tall + fast +inversions = good coaster, isn't always correct. Helix isn't that tall, all that fast, and has inversions, but is a great coaster, also made by Mack. I think you're being pessimistic because the second half of the coaster looks incredibly strong, perhaps even stronger than either of Helix's halves as an element after element after element combo.I kind of agree.
