    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

Funny, since 2003 is considered one of the "dark years" by most DLP fans, but I myself would agree with you that overall it was much better then. I would say the mid 90's was DLP's best period. Maintenance was perfect, entertainment was fantastic, service was quality, hotels were much...

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

^Completely agree. I would rather they spend money on fixing everything that's broken than spending it on tacky decorations for the castle and Main Street, as well as weak entertainment offerings.

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

Man, there is so much hatred for DLP here! C'mon, it's getting a bit ridiculous. I thought I was bad for criticising DLP, but seriously, some of you guys are talking about it as if it's worse than being in a bloody prison. In my opinion, design-wise, DLP has the best magic kingdom...

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

No no no - you're not understanding this. People love Cinemagique; it's one of the favourites! That doesn't mean they dislike everything else. I love Cinemagique - it is one of my favourite attractions at DLP. I also love most of the other attractions - just not quite as much. That doesn't...

    Fanboyism

I dislike the term "fanboy". I'm not 100% sure what it means, but it's something negative, and I feel it has become overused in the coaster community. There was a time when coaster enthusiasts enjoyed coasters. Whether it was a family coaster, a thrill coaster, steel, wood, whatever, fans...

Only on this forum would people care so much about what bricks are used. :P

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

Hey, it's not that bad. It's got a high guest satisfaction - that means most people love it! In no way does it reflect the opinions of the public about the whole resort. Please don't write things like that again just to cause arguments.

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

Philarmagic is a truly great attraction but I think Animagique is better for DLP. They're lacking in good stage shows at the moment. If they ever consider adding Philarmagic they should do it in a new building.

Not so keen on the name. It doesn't sound right saying "I'm going to ride Thirteen", it's just a number. For such a major ride they should've used a bit more imagination. Other than that, I'm loving everything I'm seeing so far. I'm very glad Rita is being changed to fit with the theme. If...

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

I see what you mean, but something is stopping the majority of guests from buying food/merchandise as much as they used to. It's either the price, or the product itself.

    The Truth About Disneyland Paris

They really need to lower prices on food, merchandise, and also the hotels. It's beyond ridiculous. They shouldn't be afraid to try lowering the prices. I for one feel it would be better for them. I don't understand why so many people seem to hate DLP so much. I'm not oblivious to the fact...

Chessington apply for planning permission for redevelopment

Love it! Good name, good poster. :--D I'm really looking forward to this. With all the trees surrounding the site as well as the great theming shown on the plans, this could prove to be one the most immersively-themed areas in the country!

We "kinda" already knew, but we weren't sure. He also said that the inside section will play more on the mind than the body.

Someone I know at another forum claims that he has some inside info (and I trust him, he's not the sort of person who would lie). He said that the name of the ride is not Surrender and that the name hasn't been decided yet. He also said that Rita and Ugland will be getting rethemed.

Saw Alive: Thorpe Park Horror Maze for 2010

I do agree that it was a little over-hyped (I mean it's hardly the "world's scariest ride"), but I still think it's a great addition to the park. The theming in my opinion is very good for Thorpe Park. All the queue line props, the themed signs, the blood running down the stairs, and the...

Saw Alive: Thorpe Park Horror Maze for 2010

For christ's sake... why do so many people moan on and on about the theming?? I mean, what on earth were you expecting? It's Thorpe Park. They are not going to be producing Disney-quality theming. Saw is arguably the best themed ride in the park, yet apparently it's still not good enough...
