Pacing seems great for testing! Maybe RMC's best excluding SV/LR from the looks of it. Love the flow of elements too, doesn't seem to have any jarring transitions at all which some seem to have.
Good god. This makes Hyperion look like a B&M hyper. Good on Intamin for taking on RMC (and Vekoma to a certain extent) in terms of insane elements. This is edging it for me over the launcher but they both look fab.
Yeah a hyper would be lovely (Mack or Intamin please, B&Ms look a bit bleh to me), as would an RMC but I'm putting my money on a mini dive. I'd welcome one like Valkyria but wouldn't be surprised by a mediocre OTBH/Krake style one. Would much prefer a mid sized snappy GCI, which doesn't seem too...
Had an awful one where Thorpe/Merlin had got so desperate and tragic that they'd started paying low-tier Love Island contestants to lounge around the park in bikinis and upload selfies..
Hold on...
That's one ride though? The rest of the park looks really tacky whereas Europa is pretty stunning overall. Kudos to them for doing such a good job on Hyperion though, the park are really on the right track now and very excited for their future.
Probably Wicker Man although it's obviously the inferior ride. I don't think any smaller parks would ever have been put off buying a modern steel double launched coaster for any reason other than cost. However the a large portion of the public undoubtedly questioned the safety of woodies. The...
Nemesis & Icon for quality. Smiler and The Ultimate for uniqueness. Stealth is fun but beaten by its US and now European counterparts, and Swarm is good but not exactly groundbreaking. Same goes for Megafobia. So in answer to the actual question, 2. And some would probably argue against...
Exactly this. If it'd been built at Chessington or Drayton or pretty much any other UK park I'd have been thrilled. But they spent a similar amount to BPB on Icon on a mid-level at best family woodie, after years of speculation and hype that they'd finally get one. I really can't see the...
Finally got on today! Absolutely loved it and pretty sure it's my favourite coaster now, topping Nemesis. There were a few dead spots and I do wish there were some more proper airtime hills and/or inversions but the ejector going off the top hat on back row as well as on the other 'proper' hill...
Everyone who likes R&B/soul should have listened to Erykah Badu, saw her at a festival recently after being a big fan a while and she was incredible.
Ctrl by SZA
and A Seat at the Table by Solange
are two of my favourite albums at the moment.
Also loving Lapsley:
And Sufjan Stevens on the...
Great report (ludicrous placing of PMBO aside ;))! Hoping to do a similar trip myself soon, glad to hear Shambhala's running well as I've heard mixed things about it recently.
