Here's two potential spots for Quimera in Indiana Beach.
Adding my thoughts to this, I'm thrilled that the ride isn't being scrapped, and even more thrilled that it's being relocated just 11 hours' drive from me. I'm definitely going to plan a visit to Indiana Beach now that this is coming, not...
I remember that at the 2019 ACE Winter Warm Up at Carowinds, Dan Koch and another higher up at Alabama Splash Adventure told us that they were considering adding a new coaster in the near future. The three options presented were a Gravity Group family wooden coaster (they mentioned it being...
Perhaps it could be for the same reason that Alton Towers retained Corkscrew's famous inversions? Dragon was Adventureland's first steel, looping coaster, after all. Or they could just be using the loops to hang up advertising banners for Dragon Slayer.
Dragonflier - Dollywood (#163)
Probably the only new coaster credit I'll get this year. It's a good family coaster for sure; it's very smooth, decently long and has a few pops of floater air, but doesn't offer a particularly intense ride experience (compared to Verbolten and FireChaser Express...
1. Intimidator 305
2. Fury 325
3. Millennium Force
None of these are bad rides at all, in my opinion; all 3 giga coasters crack my top 20, with Millennium Force at #20, Fury 325 at #6 and Intimidator 305 at #2. I happen to really enjoy intense coasters, which is why Intimidator 305 is my...
Coasters I like that others don't:
Rip Ride Rockit
Dare Devil Dive
Titan (Six Flags Over Texas)
Coasters I don't like that others do:
Raptor (Cedar Point)
Grizzly (King's Dominion)
Firehawk (King's Island)
Seeing as how Eye of the Storm is only a few years old, I would expect a relocation instead of a removal. Free Spins have extremely long and narrow footprints, so I don't think it'd be hard for Kentucky Kingdom to find a spot suitable for one. I do remember hearing the rumor of Mile High Falls -...
Out of interest, are there any leading rumors among Danish coasterfans for this replacement? I'm still unsure of what to expect; without any evidence, I think this replacement could be a coaster, but a dark ride instead wouldn't be out of the question in my opinion.
I'd think Islands of Adventure would want to capitalize in on retheming Jurassic Park River Adventure as a "new attraction", to coincide with or follow shortly after the opening of Velocicoaster, if the whole area is being refurbished into Jurassic World.
I remember seeing this in the "No Six Flags Dubai... for now." thread a week or two ago, posted by @roomraider...
As a small tangent. There is apparently currently a custom Maurer Spinner for sale on the 2nd hand market. I assumed it was either the one at Respublika in Ukraine that never opened...
