I don’t think it’s black, think it might be the same colour brown as the Topper

B&M prefer to give longer airtime and weightlessness. Those will only give little pops of airtime, throwing you about, whereas one big hill in the same space will give a good few seconds of weightlessness.

    New Mack Prototype

Yeah, surely this is a worse version of the spinning car they already had on Blue fire??

    Gröna Lund | Monster | B&M Invert | 2021

We also seem to have reverted back to old school restraints, interesting. It has some great foot choppers and close calls!

Busch Gardens Tampa | Iron Gwazi | RMC Gwazi | 2021

There is ‘something’ that I don’t like about it, and I can’t figure it out what it is. Maybe it’s the transitions feeling jerky, rather than flowing naturally? Maybe it’s the supports that look really janky? (I mean it goes hand in hand with these retrofits, so maybe it’s the purple that...

    Plopsaland de Panne | Robo-Spinner | Mack Xtreme Spinning Coaster | 2021

It's similar to what Intamin has done too on Taron and China Hunt etc.

That is huge for a Mack launch, especially for one without a swing launch. We might be in for an actual powerful launch maybe..

Europa Park New Mack Coaster in 2023

I don't think EP has ever removed a ride, just added more and more and more. Euro Mir holds a great deal of nostalgic value for a lot of people. I went in september and it still had a 10-15 min queue frequently, and with it's enormous throughput that's a pretty good hold up on a relatively...

    Gröna Lund | Monster | B&M Invert | 2021

I think 4 almost identical inversions is a bit overkill really. Might get a pop of airtime on the new version

They fill the track with sand post-fabrication these days, which means they have to cut a hole into it, and then place a cap on top.

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

I think it’s the 4 across trains. They’re just too big and clunky for the track/manoeuvres that Gersts pull. Even the short Eurofighter trains just don’t feel like they fit on the track properly. Smiler feels like it slams the train through the inversions, especially the last three.

Nigloland | Krampus Expedition | Mack Water Coaster | 2021

I quite like the tri-track version! But all watercoaster tracks are a bit funky looking tbh, the intamins are too.

    Gröna Lund | Monster | B&M Invert | 2021

You get how both of those examples prove exactly what I said though, right? 😂 Take a look and you can notice just how shallow that curve is over the apex, then compare it to the shaping of a modern airtime hill. You won’t be seeing ejector air on a invert any time soon (unless we bring in a...

Nigloland | Krampus Expedition | Mack Water Coaster | 2021

Will it be finished so quickly because it has a tiny layout, or will they be super quick with this build?

    Gröna Lund | Monster | B&M Invert | 2021

Inverts always have some form of twisted drop because it keeps your legs away from being able to kick the row in front. It’s also why you don’t tend to see airtime hills on them, the apex of the hill would always have to be more drawn out because of the nature of how the train bends. Not that...

Europa Park New Mack Coaster in 2023

Interesting! I wonder where they will go, the park is pretty jam packed already and backs directly onto Rust. I did hear rumours of a big coaster somewhere in the centre of the park, but that’d mean losing some stuff.
