I like what Plopsa did with the Maya area, generally I found it to be well done so I think this will be done to the same or better standard, especially if this is to entice people to the park out of main season.
The cred will be pretty generic though, I just hope they theme the caves well, the rest of the attractions will probably be slides and climbing areas and a couple of small flats.

I think this is a great addition for the park. Plopsa seem to know what they're doing, while there are a lot of areas that need to be fixed in this park you can't say they haven't been investing in solid additions since they took it over.

One thing the article doesn't mention, Plopsa also announced today that they'll also be building their second Plopsa Aqua park here (first being at the De Panne park). They didn't seem to mention a date anywhere but, yet again, seems like a good idea, should really help make the park a full-day experience and all these indoor additions allows them to open all year too.

There was an announcement day about the new area. It's being called 'Holiday Indoor'.

It will feature multiple bits of play equipment and slides, a Mia and Me mascot show,

a Zamplera Windstar flat ride themed to Heidi, and a Zierer family coaster themed to, and called Tabaluga.

The park's outdoor boat ride Tabalugas Adventure will be removed and demolished at the end of this season. The theme will live on though with the new coaster. The site of the boat ride will be left empty for now.
Seems odd given the concept art and sleigh train design would suit a Heidi theme.

This should be a good investment for the park and hopefully they can expand more in the future. I can see a family GCI fitting very well at this park.

Now if only we could get them to run 2 trains on Ge Force again...

There is no official opening date for the new "Holiday Indoor" themed area, however Holiday Park's fan site has been told that the targeted date is 1st July.

The first of the new attractions has been installed. The slides will be in a section of the hall themed to the children's TV show 'Mia and Me'.

Still quite a bit left to do...
No sign of the Zierer family coaster onsite yet.

I was impressed with Plopsa's indoor park in Hasselt. Lots of scenery everywhere, even the Zierer rumblebum was made memorable. High hopes for something similar.

The coaster is now in place - the above picture is a month old already. Source Newspaper Article.
According to the Newspaper article the area is set to open at the start of August. Holiday Indoor at a cost of 10 million euros is the largest investment Plopsa have made so far in Holiday Park.
The park has seen an increase in visitors since the Plopsa takeover (630,000 visitors came in 2017), and they are working towards their target of one million visitors. Once they meet this target, which is expected to take 5 years, they plan to build a hotel with a water park.

From CoasterFriends.de user xxcoasterrider97 some pictures of how the exterior is currently progressing.

This amusement park looks just incredibly beautiful. I wonder how much money was spent on its construction? Do you know if this park is still working or not anymore?

The area is definitely still open, and I’ll agree with you that it looks really pretty!

I couldn’t tell you about the cost, however; sorry about that!

Hi!

We automatically consider things a little bit suspect when a new user signs up to make a one-line post in an old thread, and no more. Can you please provide me any reason to believe you're not intending to post spam links? Due to the nature of these things, we'd like a reply rather quickly.

Thanks!
